On Friday the 9th of November 2018, a number of JKW representatives attended the CCF NSW Presidents Gala Ball and People Awards Night.
We successfully had all 3 of our applicants shortlisted for the awards – Andrew Kuryj for Plant Operator of the Year and 2 of our Project Managers Nick and Slavce were nominated for Project Manager of the Year managing projects over 2 Million Dollars.
Andrew Kuryj was jointly awarded the title of 2018 Plant Operator of the Year. This industry award is in acknowledgement of Andrew’s many achievements and commitment over his 20 year career at JK Williams. Congratulations to Andrew for an Industry Award well deserved.
Although they did not win, simply being shortlisted is an accomplishment in itself, particularly when talking into account that both Nick and Slavce are still in the very early stages of their professional careers.
It was a wonderful night for all those who attended what is a considered a very significant event for the Civil Construction Industry.
