Figtree Hill entailed the development of a residential subdivision situated in South West Sydney, nestled within a koala habitat and alongside a Sydney water corridor. JK Williams was also responsible for managing community sensitivities related to the project and its associated works. Additionally, we collaborated with contractors managing the Appin Road and its upgrade which was occurring concurrently to ensure we were able to deliver our this project on program.

Figtree Hill project was constructed with the use of renewable energy. this included; Solar powered site office and amenities, electric vehicles, hybrid D6 dozer, B5 Diesel, andf a charging station for electric vehicles.

Key Features

The completed tasks for this project include:

  • Bulk earthworks, stormwater drainage construction, construction of roads, footpaths and bio retention basin. Installation of potable water, wastewater and electrical services

Special Features of the Project:

  • 129 Residential lots constructed
  • Major upgrade to flood mitigation measures with large trunked drainage installations
  • Installation of 5m high x 720m acoustic wall
  • 22,000 m3 of topsoil stripped and respread
  • 61,000 m3 of earthworks cut to fill
  • 4,000 lineal meters of drainage lines
  • 40,000 m2 of pavement construction
  • Work adjacent to Sydney Water Corridor and in close proximity to koala habitat
