United Infrastructure, as part of a joint venture, has been selected to deliver the surface civil and alignment works for the Sydney Metro – Western Sydney Airport rail link between Orchard Hills and the new Western Sydney Airport Station. The project is funded by the Australian and New South Wales governments with a contract value of $538.5m.
The joint venture is made up of United Infrastructure and CPB Contractors. United Infrastructure is a consortium of Western Sydney based companies Burton Contractors, JK Williams and Mulgoa Quarries.

The works encompass the civil infrastructure necessary for the construction of the track and include approximately 6.7 kilometres of ‘at grade’ railway embankment, 3.5 kilometres of elevated viaduct and 2 Super-T bridges.
Work will commence in 2022 and is scheduled to be completed in 2024.
