Challenge

Calderwood Valley is home to the Macquarie Rivulet which is 23 km in length and runs through the Illawarra escarpment.

Constructing the subdivision and open space works inclusive of inclusive of earthworks, stormwater drainage installation, road construction and services reticulation required rigorous and extensive environmental management controls to ensure we did not disturb this area.

Due to detailed planning and onsite management there was no impact made to this local waterway, ensuring that it remains exactly as it was for the community to enjoy for many years to come.
