Rosemeadow Stage 3 is a residential subdivision home of 93 lots, this project includes over 4,100m² of pavements inclusive of kerbs and footpaths, stormwater treatment systems, retaining walls, potable water & wastewater reticulations, as well as electrical reticulations.
The preliminary stage of this project consisted of remediation works, the site location had been investigated after the demolition of pre-existing structures, and it was found that there were known hot spots requiring rememdiation works. Working with hygienists we were required to strip and excavate the site down to the natural underlying material. The soil that was excavated then was to be sorted, treated, and hand picked to allow for reuse on site. Contaminates were removed from the soil and hygienists tested the material for its suitability for reuse. In addition to the remediation works, existing service infrastructure that used to service the previous dwellings required meticulous removal and was disposed of appropriately.
