Women have been an integral part of our Construction Team for more than two decades!
The increase in female representation within the JK Williams construction team has grown organically. Women trust us not just to enter the Civil Construction industry but also to thrive in their careers.
Our commitment to fostering an equal opportunities workplace includes reporting to the Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA).
This practice enables us to examine and benchmark businesses within our industry, providing valuable insights into the gender pay gap. We encourage all Civil Contractors to join us in participating in this report to ensure access to consistent and trustworthy data.

In 2024, JK Williams welcomed its 5th Father & Daughter duo to the team.
This proud moment signifies a shift from the traditional Father & Sons dynamic to one that includes Fathers & Daughters. It also reflects the trust placed in us to nurture daughters’ careers in a male-dominated industry. When a father recommends us as an employer for both his sons and daughters, it marks a significant milestone for JK Williams and the industry. This culture of support and inclusivity has been fostered by our workforce since 1958.
